Once Upon A Time Tennis Showcase Event
Renaissance Tennis is proud to be bringing OUATT to North America. Once Upon A Time Tennis is an international grassroots competition that seeks to find the very best players in the world for boys and girls aged 9-16. In addition, the tournament provides children who enjoy playing tennis an alternative competition to that of USTA or ITF; that is fun and rewarding.
Our inaugural "showcase" event will be held February 10th and 11th at Moore Park in downtown Miami. We are lucky to have Kim Sands, the passionate and spirited renaissance woman, as our promoter and event supervisor. Kim is the Director of Tennis for the City of Miami public parks who implements a wonderful sports program in Miami that provides opportunities for inner city children to hone their skills on the tennis court and in life.
Please see the attached flier for more information about this special event.

Stakhovsky signs with RTM
Sergiy Stakhovsky, the Ukraine’s highest-ranked player for the past three years, has signed a five year agreement with Renaissance Tennis Management to manage and coach him in his professional career.
Luca Appino, CEO and president of Renaissance Tennis Management, based in the Bahamas, said "Adding Sergiy to our roster brings another potential highly ranked player to our team. Tarik and our coaches are excited about Sergiy’s talent, work ethics and determination.”
Stakhovsky, currently ranked at 182 on the ATP and only 20 years is happy to be on the RTM team. "Training with Tarik and his incredible support team has been terrific for my 2007 preparation; he is without a doubt the top coach in tennis today and I am looking forward to a long-lasting relationship with Tarik and RTM.” "Sergiy will shoot up the rankings as fast as Benjamin" says Benhabiles. I have selected one of my top coaches, Franck Buoro to travel with us so we can devote the time necessary for Sergiy to become a champion. In the near future, Sergiy will be winning ATP tournaments and become a top ranked player" added Benhabiles.
A member of the Ukrainian Davis Cup team for several years, Stakhovsky begins his 2007 campaign at the Qatar Open in Doha before competing in the Australian Open.
